Qoniak

Qoniak is the mix between the vintage analog machines of Vincent Membrez and Lionel Friedli‘s alien drumming that creates a unique amalgam of sound, organic and polymorphic at will.

Friedli and Membrez formed the duo back in 2003. Starting off informally, with chaotic and highly energetic improvised music inspired by famous pairs such as Paul Lovens and Thomas Lehn or Roger Turner and Phil Minton, they eventually decided to structure it with compositional elements and bring it to full light on stage and in the studio.
