The question then arises, is it Jazz or not, or maybe just contemporary experimental music and all these tag are debatable. What isn’t debatable though is the fact that its simply great music no matter what its classification.
Dark atmospheric beats hang in the air as the four musicians intelligently improvise jazz and electronica to form the crown jewel of their new album “Erosion” Complementing this eclectic feast are the vocal disciplines of Rap, Poetry and Song as done the South African Freestyle Veteran Sky189 from the Freestyle Fanclub and Boww project, NYC’s Black Cracker known for his work with Coco Rosie or Grand Pianoramax and Swiss based Claire Huguenin of Jibcae and Kamikaze fame. Together they push this art form to the boundaries of Urbanised Jazz/ “Jazz Noir “ style of box with a lyrical blast of Rhymes, words and improv. This is where lyric and sound meet as an exciting union of suspense filled music.
